Lewis the Lion learnt that Australia is the sixth largest country in the world and that it is made up of seven main states and territories:

– Australian Capital Territory
– Queensland
– New South Wales
– Victoria
– South Australia
– Western Australia
– Northern Territory
– Tasmania

– Plus many islands such as Christmas Island and the Coral Sea Islands.

He also learnt that Australia’s capital city was one that he hadn’t heard much of: Canberra. Even people he met from Canberra told him not to bother visiting as it is purely the administrative capital of Australia with not many tourist attractions.

However, one of the things that he enjoyed on his visit was looking at all of the registration plates which showed which state they came from. He also noticed that like back in the UK, you could also have personalised registration plates as you can see below:

If you were to invent a slogan for your county or city for a registration plate, what would it be and why?
