Lewis Dreams of a Big Adventure

As Lewis the Lion left the house one cold and frosty morning, he started to dream a dream. Lewis didn’t believe in small dreams: if you were going to have a dream, it might as well be a big dream!

Lewis shivers on a frosty morning

As Lewis shivered right down to the tip of his golden tail, he looked upon the white-dusted roofs and frosted car windows, and he decided that he was destined for warmer climes and bigger adventures. He dreamt of sunny beaches and gently lapping waves, of bright colours and the smell of flowers filling the air. Lewis knew he had to leave this beautiful, happy and smiley city of Stoke-on-Trent and set off on his latest adventure. He was going to travel to as many countries in the world as he could!

Lewis knew that by going off on his adventures, his family and friends would miss him terribly and vice-versa. But he also knew that because he was such a loyal little lion, he would think of them often and wish them well from wherever he was in the world. And one day, he was sure he’d come back and see them all and it would be as if he’d never been away at all, except for all his stories that he’d have to tell them.

Lewis decided before he set off on his “Big Adventure” he needed to say goodbye to his favourite people and places in his own country, England. His first favourite place to visit: England’s capital city, London!
