Lewis has fun pretending he’s in Venice in Las Vegas!

As if Lewis the Lion hadn’t had enough fun in Las Vegas already, he really did go out with a bang before he had to fly back to Los Angeles and get ready for his flight to New Zealand. For almost seven months now, Lewis the Lion and Helen had been sharing dormitories with strangers in hostels and so on their very last night in Las Vegas, Helen decided to push the boat out – or should that be gondola?! For instead, for one night only she had been able to book a night at the famous Venetian Hotel on The Strip for the pair of them, thanks to getting a good deal on a comparison website. It seemed quite fitting really since Helen used to live in Venice and so she could compare the two places!

The Venetian Hotel really matched many of the landmarks and sights in and around Venice in Italy, albeit that some of them weren’t drawn up to scale. However, Lewis the Lion wants you to look at his photo gallery to see what you think?

One of the things that Lewis the Lion loved when he was by the fake Grand Canal watching the gondoliers steer their gondolas past was a carnival performance taking place in one of the squares.

What do you know about the carnival of Venice?

Lewis the Lion would like to see if you can design your own Venetian mask!
