Lewis the Lion discovers South American music

Well there was definitely one song that sticks out in Lewis the Lion’s mind as he travelled through South America as it was played over and over again all over South America for the whole six months that he was there!

It started on his journey in Brazil and in fact it was a song sung in Portuguese by a Brazilian pop artist called Michel Tela. Lewis the Lion didn’t think the lyrics to “Ai se eu te pego” were too great but he thought the song was catchy to start off with. However, six months down the road, quite frankly he was getting a bit sick of it as it seemed to be the only song that was ever played on South American radio or TV and you would hear it on buses, in coach stations, in the shops and just about everywhere else!

You can listen to it to by clicking on this You Tube link.

Otherwise, he was surprised by a lot of English and American pop music that he heard. However, there was still a lot of salsa to be heard as well as reggae.

Do you have a favourite type of music, singer or pop group? What is it? Who is it or are they?
